 | A Fresh Start to a New Yearposted by ColleenBourgeois , GoldWednesday, December 30th 2009 @ 9:32 AM (not yet rated) |
The beginning of a new year inspires many people to make some changes including getting organized around your home or office. Setting goals is important but don't try to go too big with your plan as you might get discouraged before the job is done.
By simply making an organized space for things you need to do on a daily basis, such as opening mail, doing homework with kids, paying bills, etc. can make these chores seem less daunting. It is important to have an area for yourself that is organized so that you can find things easily. You should also have a space for things that you like to do such as crafts, reading or even painting.
We seem to accumulate a lot of things in the run of a year. You might need to declutter and put away some of your things to give your space a fresh look. How about donating some of your unused items (clothing, toys, books, etc.) to a local charity. It will make you feel good by freeing up your space while helping the less fortunate.
