Most of us like to change things around the home to give it a fresh new look.
First, decide which pieces you have and would like to reuse in your space.
Pull anything out of the room that you would like to move and check out the rest of your house. You may have a piece of furniture that would get new life in a different room. You can always slap a coat of paint on it to liven it up. Black is always a great option.
Make a splurge by buying one special piece. Whether it be an area rug with some color, a new mirror, or a new lamp will add some life to your room as well as give a great ambiance at night. When shopping check out the clearance sections first, you can sometimes find great deals.
Be patient if you are looking for something unique you will know it when you see it.
