YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO MOVE INTO YOUR NEW HOME!

What If On The Day You Are To Take Ownership

Of Your New Home, You Get An Unpleasant Financial Surprise?

Imagine this: You arrive at your lawyers office on the day you are to sign to take possession of your new home. You sit down and she goes over your bill with you. Much to your dismay, you require a lot more money than you expected. Now you have to furiously dig into your savings or worse yet, call family and friends.

I can help make sure this never happens to you, by teaching you about all the different costs associated with buying. Such as:

  • Legal Fees
  • Property Taxes
  • Land Transfer Taxes
  • Oil/Propane Costs
  • Leased Equipment

In addition to the costs, there are so many other things to consider.

  • Who will your REALTOR® be working for?
  • Do you have to pay him/her?
  • How do you arrange home viewings
  • How do you decide what homes to view
  • How do you make an offer
  • Mortgage/Financing Options
  • Inspections
  • Property Disclosures
  • UFFI
  • Water test
  • Deposit
  • Down Payments
  • and much more

The Joys of Renting

I realize renting can be frustrating at times. Sometimes you want to play your music or television loudly...other times, you really don't want to hear your neighbours singing at the top of their lungs or worse yet, screaming at the top of their lungs.

How nice would it be to walk in the front door and not smell what everyone else is having for dinner?

Maybe you would like to have a garden in your back yard. Or even just have a back yard....with a patio and barbecue.

What about a place to mark the kids heights on the wall, as they grow up? Knowing if you decide to move it will be your choice, not your landlord's.

How about if you want to paint the ceilings purple and the walls black? Totally your decision if you own the place.

Have you really always wanted to own your own home but weren't quite sure how to go about it?

  • Are you tired of paying that rent?
  • Would you like to have some of that monthly payment going towards your mortgage?
  • Have you considered buying a home, but were afraid to take that first frightening step?
  • Would you be interested in having your questions about buying answered?

If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, take the first very small step by entering your name and e-mail address.  You will receive my 14 page Home Buying Guide  -- "Home Buying Made Easy". This special guide will explain all the steps and costs involved in purchasing and will answer all your questions. No obligations. I won't call and bother you. After all, you aren't giving me your number anyway.

Maybe you are happy with your current situation. After all, there are a few advantages to renting. If that is the case, I wish you all the best.

I'm really not trying to scare you. I just want you to be prepared when you buy your home.

Below is an excerpt from the FREE Home Buying Guide:

"More and more salespersons are wanting you to sign a contract to represent you when you buy your home. Personally, I believe you should never sign one of these.

My feeling is you should be free to work with whomever you want. If the salesperson does a good job, most times the buyer will continue to work with them. Some salespersons will tell you they won't work with you, unless you sign a contract. Usually, they are bluffing, but in the rare case they are not, finding another salesperson won't be difficult."

Hear what some of my readers think:

"Information guides can often be boring, dry, and confusing. Not this one! Kevin MacKenzie manages to be informative and helpful while still remaining interesting and easy to understand. This guide answers all the questions you might have when buying a home, and even some you might not have thought of! I would definitely recommend it to anyone, whether they are a first-time buyer, or just needing a reminder of what to expect when purchasing a new home."

"The home-buyers guide is pretty great, and even this close to closing date, helped remind me of last minute details!"
