Welcome to Moncton's Premier
Home Buying and Selling Information Site and The Referral Network

Have you ever been to a movie and then recommended it to your friends afterwards? How about a restaurant? A car dealer?   If you did, I'm sure they sent you a cheque to say thanks?  Now I'll bet you're laughing.

But what if you know of a great REALTOR®  and you recommend him to your friends?  One of them decides to buy a home with Kevin MacKenzie as their REALTOR®. A few weeks after they move in, a $500 cheque arrives in your mailbox, made out to you.  Just for making the referral. Wouldn't that feel great?

The Referral Network allows for just that. At no cost to you.  Just become a member and invite your friends.

But you're not thinking of buying or selling a home right now?  You don't know of anyone who is?  No problem - just become a member and invite your friends anyway.  Chances are, some of them will make a move eventually. And when they buy or sell a home with Kevin as their REALTOR®, you'll get paid.  You'll receive $500 if they  buy, plus $250* if they sell.

Sound too good to be true?  You have absolutely nothing to lose. If it isn't what you thought it was, you can cancel, with no strings attached.

* The $250 Listing referral fee will not be paid out if the client lists on my 2.9% special. The $ 500 when they buy will.

White has made a comeback in interior decorating.  Painting with white is a refreshing way to add some life to your home.  This color will brighten up in any room.  White may be the most neutral color of all for painting although it may be thought of as a safe choice.  There are many diifferent choices in the white palette. Choosing between cool whites and warm whites will be your most difficult decision.  You can go into any paint store and get free advice on choosing colors.  Make sure to bring along an existing cushion or textile to help make your choice easier.      Read More »

Will the Competition Bureau Kill the Competition? (kevinmac)
posted Wed May 12th 2010 @ 12:00 AM

As you may have heard, there is a little spat going on between the Competition Bureau and CREA. If I understand it all correctly, CREA wants to protect its MLS® system for its REALTOR® members and the Competition Bureau wants to make them relax the rules. Yes, it's more complicated than that, but that gives you the general gist of the spat.  All this leads me to the point of my title. Read More »

Decorating for the holidays! (ColleenBourgeois)
posted Sun November 8th 2009 @ 10:39 AM

Decorating for the holidays is one of the things that we look forward to, but are not overly excited about all the hard work ahead.   It is not too early to start putting up your lights outside on your house and perhaps light up a tree. An inexpensive way to light your house is to add a spot light to brighten up your front door in white or a color. Read More »
